inPOS M530 GMP-3 Device Pairing and Setup Guide

A working M530 device does not automatically mean the software integration is ready. Confirm fiscal, technical and operational prerequisites together.

Confirm registration and authorisation

Use the authorised service channel to confirm business registration, model, software version, bank application, TSM status and GMP-3 communication permission. Check Turkish fiscal-device obligations separately with the accountant and official GİB sources.

  • Serial and exact model
  • Software and bank version
  • GMP-3 activation
  • Authorised service contact

Prepare network and product mappings

Set the IP address, port and firewall rule between the Medusa Pos computer and M530. Verify names, units, tax rates, departments and payment types with sample sales. A successful ping alone does not prove working integration.

  • Reserved IP address
  • GMP-3 port access
  • Tax and department mapping
  • Product and payment lines

Record complete sales and interruptions

Test cash, card, contactless, multiple payment lines, cancellations and returns. Check paper shortage, bank or TSM access, network failure, unfinished transactions and X/Z report requirements. Record receipt results and staff recovery steps before going live.

  • Successful sale and receipt
  • Cancelled or unfinished transaction
  • X/Z report conditions
  • Paper, network and TSM interruption

How is a GMP-3 device paired?

Pairing Medusa Pos with inPOS M530 requires identification of the correct device and software, GMP-3 activation through an authorised channel, local network connectivity and verification of the sale result. Entering an IP address alone does not complete fiscal integration.

  1. Verify device and authorisation

Check serial number, business registration, software version and integration licence. Confirm GMP-3 activation and the manufacturer's application/pairing requirements with authorised service. Do not copy another till's configuration.

  2. Prepare connection and mappings

The technical team checks PC-to-device IP/port access and allows only the required firewall connection. Save the Medusa Pos device entry with the correct serial number. Use a sample basket to check product, VAT, department and payment mappings.

  3. Test sale and interruption results

Compare the device receipt, sale amount and Medusa Pos result for supported cash/card scenarios. Test missing paper, lost connection and interrupted transactions. Reconcile an uncertain payment against the device receipt and transaction record before restarting it; document the checks.

Menu names and pairing methods may vary by device version. Installation follows manufacturer/authorised service requirements and the business's verified fiscal scope.
